This 12 bed low secure adolescent hospital specialises in Mental Health Needs. The unit caters for 13-18 year olds who have been detained under the Mental Health Act. Designed to provide robust assessment and treatment, the unit enables young people to engage in rehabilitation within a safe, secure and supportive environment, providing community engagement and social inclusion.
Our Client is also looking for Nurses to help develop the emotional and practical skills of their 16-18 year olds whilst empowering them with independent living skills.
The Clients aim is to provide eclectic therapeutic and education programmes supported by outcome measures, with a view to reducing lengths of stay, and increasing the chances of the young person succeeding in the community post discharge
This unique hospital is designed with adolescence in mind and provides a balance of physical and relational security.
